Tinkoff Business took silver in Europe’s SME Bank of the Year category of the Global SME Finance Awards 2020. This award was established to recognize the commitments and distinguished achievements of financial institutions and fintech companies in delivering outstanding products and services to their small and medium enterprise (SME) clients.
Fedor Bukharov, Vice President of Tinkoff and Head of Tinkoff Business, commented:
«It is a great honour for us to win this nomination, recognising our commitment to serving SME customers. This has been a challenging year for small businesses. At Tinkoff, we worked extremely hard to provide financial and digital tools to help our customers succeed despite the turbulence. We acted swiftly to introduce new measures and features, so our customers could easily find the help they need. Since we are fully digital ourselves, we thrived on helping our customers to better understand this space, as it became necessary for them to do so in the current environment. We look forward to continuing to innovate and to further improve our product offering to serve our SME customers.»
Matthew Gamser, CEO of the SME Finance Forum, commented:
«We hope the winners of the Global SME Finance Awards will inspire SME financiers all over the world to learn from their good practices. The Awards provide the winners an opportunity to showcase good practices on the global stage and to foster learning amongst their peers.»
