Tinkoff announces the Tinkoff Travel digital platform relaunch and the creation of its own online travel agency with a compelling offering of air travel, railway tickets, packaged deals, hotels and rental cars. Tinkoff will be the first Russian bank to launch its online travel agency, which anyone (not just Tinkoff customers) will be able to use. This project will expand the lifestyle offering of the Tinkoff ecosystem.

Gearing up for the relaunch, Tinkoff Travel has partnered with key global distribution systems (GDSs) in the B2B segment in order to cut out the middleman to sell flights directly to customers. Major aggregators, such as Aviasales.ru, now feature Tinkoff Travel among its offers and more travel booking websites are set to follow suit.

New features of Tinkoff Travel include:

• The lowest prices for air travel on popular airlines, as well as a cashback bonus of up to 5% from Tinkoff. The airlines currently include Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya, Utair, Ural Airlines, Georgian Airways and Turkish Airlines with more set to be added as the platform develops. The lowest possible prices are achieved by cancelling the service charges.
• Tinkoff, rated first in the 2018 People’s Ranking by Banki.ru, will now handle all customer support related to air travel Tinkoff Travel customers are now able to use the Tinkoff mobile app chat or visit Tinkoff.ru to ask any questions related to their travel booking.
• Buying tickets at Tinkoff.ru has become faster and more convenient. Personal details are stored in the user’s account and will be filled in automatically during future purchases.
• Travel insurance can now be purchased along with flights with additional new products coming soon.
• Higher cashback of up to 10% is available for hotel bookings and car rentals.

In the near future, Tinkoff Travel will also start offering tickets for airport express trains and long-distance buses, airport transfers, extra baggage allowance and other purchases.

Tinkoff Travel also plans to integrate voice assistant Oleg, available via the Tinkoff mobile app, to help users choose and book the best available tickets and packaged deals at their request.
