Visa and Mastercard cards issued by Russian banks continue to operate without restrictions within Russia.

Payments made in stores via Tinkoff’s merchant and internet acquiring services through Visa and Mastercard cards issued in Russia will be processed without alteration. Payments made through the Mir payment system are also available in full, including by Mir cards issued by foreign banks.

Payments made through Visa and Mastercard cards issued by foreign banks will be temporarily discontinued due to Visa and Mastercard’s suspension of operations in Russia from March 10. The processing of transactions through international bank cards may also be suspended earlier than the given date. Tinkoff is considering feasible options to enable payments from overseas in its acquiring network.
