Tinkoff gains ground among Brand Finance’s global Top 500 most valuable banking brands

Moscow, Russia — 2 February 2021.

Tinkoff has solidified its standing in the Brand Finance Banking 500’s ranking in 2021, after moving up 28 spots from last year to reach 298th position.

According to Brand Finance, Tinkoff’s brand value currently stands at USD 451 m (an estimate of the net present value of expected future cash flows generated by the brand for the company).

Compared with last year’s figure of USD 402 m, our brand value has thus grown by 12.2% and 37.4% in dollar and rouble terms, respectively.

Tinkoff’s Brand Strength Index (BSI) score as measured by Brand Finance is now 72.7 out of 100, marking an increase of almost 10 points year-on-year (up 9.7 vs 2020). Tinkoff’s current rating is AA.

When valuing a brand, Brand Finance assesses its strength by analysing marketing investments, brand equity, and the impact of these factors on business performance.
